It’s the path we go and get after what our purposes are!

Purpose

You know it deep down! To find it, just ask yourself!

Do you remember when was the first time you were asked about your life purposes?

I remember I was in kindergarten; my father asked me, and my answer was, “I want to get married!” It sounds funny and probably ridiculous now when I look back. How would a toddler think of getting married as a life purpose? The irony is that I didn’t get married until nearly 30, and I couldn’t maintain and stay in a marriage.

There are many, if not tons of advice out there for helping people find life purposes. Sometimes, my wondering mind can’t help but think of why and want to know how.

In my personal experience, I think our life purposes lie within, deep down, and only we know how to dig them up and live with them. Over time through life, I lost myself without having my life purposes present. I live day-by-day in busyness and only focus on those small goals without aligning them with my purposes.

I snapshot this picture during my morning exercise; I find myself looking at the road, thinking about how the road, the journey of life, brings me to here today; my life purposes had been hidden, and now they are shinning under the spotlight.

Goals are different from Purposes.

In my definition, goals have a destination; hence, they can be done and finished. Goals we set align with our life purposes; and life purposes we live with and by; it never ends until the end of our time.

Sometimes we ask ourselves questions to clarify:

Why do I want to do what I want to do?

What am I expecting from what I want to do?

Why do I set these goals?

Are these goals accomplishing a part of my life’s purposes?

It’s a mind-digging exercise that helps us clarify what is in our minds. The more we exercise our brain and mind, the stronger we get!

“Life purposes may change or should say transcendent; it’s not because we finish one then go for another; it’s because of those purposes, we keep doing everyday things to enrich and embrace them!”

Some morning thoughts share with you and hope may help you!

God is with you, you don’t have to worry!

Amen
